The only way to get him to sit still for a picture sometimes is to turn on a YouTube video of Elmo. |
Here he is asking me to play the video again. |
Here he is MAD because I turned off Elmo...haha. |
These red shortalls are the BEST! Of course they are Osh Kosh so they are EXTRA awesome. The shoes in the first picture on vintage 70s--they didn't fit him long but dang they were cute! I love the laces....
The vintage ringer in the second set has the best applique of a fish drinking water from a straw. I wish I would have thought to take a picture of it. Oh well. Funny story about the vintage Tupperware toy he is playing with....I saw some in post someone did showing off their nursery and remembered having a few of them when I was a kid (specifically the dog). I looked some up on Etsy and ALMOST bought them but changed my mind. A week later...I found the dog, a giraffe, and a hippo in a bag for something like fifty cents! It's weird how that happens sometimes!
I'm linking to hart + sew: little vintage style from now on. I love that feature! It's so fun to see other people's children dressed in vintage...I only have one other friend who is into it like I am. It's so nice to know we aren't alone! :-)
he is such a punkin i can't even take it!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the tall socks and shoes with the little red overall shorts! Cute combo!
ReplyDeletetotally remember those toys! love the shoes and how cool is that lamp in the background?!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for the nice comments!!
ReplyDeleteJust an FYI--his socks are normal socks you can get from Old Navy but I don't fold them over. I like them that way because they are kinda reminiscent of the 70s tube socks!
Oh and my mom scored that lamp at the thrift store for $5.00. Can't beat that!
So cute - I love how he wears the socks!
ReplyDeleteAnd those first shoes are just so adorable.
