Cohen's Vintage Style --Dinosaur Gardens!

Dinosaur Gardens!! What a treat. This is up north where my parents live and we had so much fun taking Cohen to see it! I had been looking forward to this day for SO long. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of telling Cohen we would go to a playground too and so the whole time he was looking for the playground. Ha. Also, he's not that into statues. He thought they were ok, but I don't think he's in the dinosaur stage yet. So we will wait a few years and then take him back...he'll probably dig it more when he is a bit older. We still had fun and it is such an interesting place. Where else can you climb inside a dinosaur and see a picture of Jesus?? Cohen's Vintage Style --Being Silly !

Ok, again...busy, busy, busy. However, I had to post these pictures! This is the Cohen I know and love---being a GOOF! When he put these broken sunglasses on, we had such good laugh....holy cow, he can really crack me up sometimes! 
So the other thing these pictures show is how it looks in my living room most of the time...oops. Yes we were playing but I'm really bad about picking up toys. The IKEA piece in the background helps me stay organized a bit...but let's be honest, this is what it looks like most of the time anyway. We really need to work putting away toys into our routine. Cohen is actually really GOOD about it if I ask him, I just haven't stressed it enough.

Info on the clothes:The thrifted shirt probably isn't that old since it has Elmo on the sleeve...but it matches up nicely with a lot of his primary color bottoms. The only vintage is the 80s shorts shorts (which may or may not be on backwards). He is probably getting too big for them so I got them into Little Vintage Style JUST IN TIME!

Cohen's Vintage Style--Fun at the Park

Almost didn't get around to posting this week! We had a crazy busy week, lots of visitors and activities. We are actually leaving for out of town in a few hours so I'm going to keep this short. Cohen had a play date with one of our FAV babies--BABY ADELE! She's seriously one of the cutest, most lovable babies I know!! We went to a park near our house and had some fun times. Cohen is wearing a vintage 70s tank and shorts --both of which were thrifted! Ok, sorry this is short but I'm off to do more packing...we are heading to Lake Michigan for the weekend! :-)

This week we went to the Fredrick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. They have a really cool area for kids and Cohen just had a ball exploring the grounds. We didn't even have time to see everything because he was having so much fun at the tree house where there is a cool suspension bridge and an area where you can pretend to sip tea! This really made an impression on Cohen and even after I finally got him away from the tree house, all he wanted to do was go back and drink tea! 
His outfit is very 80s this week and for some reason Jimmy Buffet comes to mind (ha!). You can probably tell the hat and shoes aren't vintage but the shorts are definitely from the 80s as well. I have a few other vintage Hawaiian shirts that I've thrifted for him and my next two posts will most likely be with those shirts. I'm almost tempted to take this one out of the store so we can do a vintage Hawaiian summer series! :-) See you all next week!!!
